JobZone typically offers FREE RESUME WORSHOP(S) during monthly Job Fairs. The free Resume Workshops are hosted by varied leaders of the surrounding communities who are professional career coaches or certified resume writers.

The following individuals volunteer Resume Workshops at various JobZone events, such as Resume Critique, Resume Building Presentation, Federal Resume Workshop, etc. There is no cost to job seekers at the JobZone Job Fairs. Tina assists with military/family members' resumes at no cost. Eva Murray-Scelzo, retired Virginia Department of Rehabilitative Services Program Support Technician Senior, has provided resume and interview sessions for clients seeking both federal and private employment. During her tenure, she also presented Virginia Employment Commission workforce development modules for job seekers.
Murray-Scelzo, a freelance writer and editor, holds a Master of Arts Degree in Education and has a background in teaching.
Some of our events include other employment-related workshops such as Small Business Startup Overview, Networking a Job Fair, Motivational Speakers, Troops to Teachers, Veterans Employment Assistance, Interviewing Tips, Military Benefits Info (e.g. Tricare, Johns Hopkins US Health Plan).
JobZone hs offered Resume Review/Critique in the past at no cost, but unfortunately the requests have become too overwhelming to be able to accommodate. Therefore, we are seeking outside sources to meet the needs of our clientele. You may contact our office at anytime for Resume Assistance referrals.
