Functional Description – Lead a team of acquisition subject matter experts (SME) in the overall software management support of the MANGL family of systems.
The three primary aviation platforms supported under the Program of Record (POR) include the MV-22, CH-53K and KC-130J.
Work closely with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to manage MANGL software updates that meets cybersecurity policies set by the National Security Agency (NSA) and established in the Authorization to Operate (ATO) while supporting Fleet’s operational requirements.
Develop, present and lead technical discussions pertaining to DI in support of MANGL stakeholders, cross-service and joint partners. Work closely with the MANGL MAGTAB IPTL, Hardware IPTL and Future Capability IPTL to ensure a seamless software integration across the MANGL product line that optimizes performance and minimizes down time through timely and effective software updates / patches.
Support the MANGL IPTL in the execution of POR responsibilities.
Requirements
Required Education: BA/BS degree.
Required Experience: – 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description. Proven experience in program management within a fast-paced environment. Well versed with the Navy Acquisition and Software Management. Experience working with the Cyber Security team is desired. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, enabling effective problem-solving and decision-making.
Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance.
