The Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) is a Department of Defense organization under the Office of the Secretary of Defense that maintains the central repository of personnel, manpower, training and financial data for the DoD.
What They Do
DMDC operates the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and the Real-Time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS), issuing the Common Access Card (CAC) and uniformed services ID cards, and delivers data, identity and benefits information supporting service members, veterans and their families worldwide.
