Description
The Virginia Department of Corrections is hiring a full-time Institutional Physician at Haynesville Correctional Center (Richmond County, VA). The physician runs an in-facility doctor’s office practice supported by a Nurse Manager and nursing staff: diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and injuries, prescribing medications, helping build treatment plans, educating patients on managing their health, and serving on the facility health services team. A $30,000 sign-on bonus or up to $60,000 in student loan repayment may be available.
