Description
On-site developer supporting Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test & Evaluation on the Data Acquisition and Processing (DAPS) team, which supports data collection during EMP, lightning and RF susceptibility testing at NAS Patuxent River. Designs a new Windows-based DAPS application and its system architecture using Agile sprints. Interfaces new software with legacy DAPS SQL/Access databases and optical data-link transceivers at the EMP facility, and supports design reviews and documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Engineering (related degrees with 3 years experience may qualify); 3 years relevant experience; Python; DevOps/CI; complex application architectures and APIs; GUI design; database schema design; OO design; legacy software modernization; Agile. No clearance needed to apply; DoD Secret clearance required upon onboarding.
