Description
Jr. Software Developer with 2+ years developing software for tactical systems, on-site at NSWCDD or a contractor facility at least 3-4 days per week. Writes and implements source code for new full-stack applications and extends existing codebases using front-end (JavaScript, React) and back-end (Java, Python, C#, C/C++, .NET, NodeJS) technologies. Works with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to troubleshoot issues, automate manual processes and maintain reliability through automated testing.
Requirements
2+ years designing/developing software applications; front-end and back-end languages; collaborative problem solving; ability to obtain a Secret clearance (active Secret preferred); Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years software engineering experience in lieu of degree.
