Description
The Department of Environmental Services seeks a Traffic Systems Engineer for the ITS team in the Transportation Engineering and Operations Bureau, which designs, analyzes and operates traffic signals, streetlights and ITS. Serves as operational lead on efforts such as traffic camera deployment, count station installation and roadside devices (school beacons, RRFBs, speed feedback signs). Works with the Department of Technology Services to apply IT to transportation systems.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (systems, civil, electrical, computer, etc.), computer science or related field; multigrade Engineer I–III position (Engineer I requires no experience). Posting closes 2026-11-05.
