Description
Manages asset management of the County’s 35+ bridges within the DES Engineering Bureau, including the biennial bridge safety inspection program, maintenance and repairs. Develops the 4-year bridge repair and maintenance plan and budgets and leads bridge capital projects such as major rehabilitations and replacements. Procures and oversees consultants and contractors and manages other transportation projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering and significant progressively responsible civil engineering experience, including at least two years in bridge program management, bridge rehabilitation design and/or bridge capital project management. Virginia PE preferred. No closing date shown.
