Description
Maintains, repairs and installs hardware, troubleshooting hardware issues down to the circuit-board level and fabricating custom cables. Analyzes circuit card assemblies to identify component-level problems, reads wiring diagrams and schematics, and follows established procedures at the component, chassis or system level. Researches COTS material and travels CONUS as required.
Requirements
3 years of maintenance/repair experience on computer-based electro-mechanical equipment; ability to solder multi-layer circuit cards, cables and connectors; electrical diagnostic tools; ability to lift 50 lbs and crawl under raised flooring; must obtain J-STD-001 solder and IPC 620 wire harness certifications within 90 days. Experience with AN/WSN-7 ring laser gyroscope, 400Hz converter sets, NAVSSI and GPNTS desired. Active DoD Secret clearance.
