Description
Secret Service Police (Uniformed Division) officers safeguard the White House complex, the Vice President’s residence and other designated facilities, provide security for foreign missions and embassies, travel in support of Presidential, Vice Presidential and foreign head-of-state missions, and enforce protective responsibilities under 18 U.S.C. 3056A. Requirements
U.S. citizenship; valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license; at least 20 years old at application (referral up to 40th birthday, exceptions for covered federal LE service); must obtain and retain a Top Secret clearance; vision/hearing standards; drug test.
