Plans, installs, maintains and optimizes enterprise network systems supporting voice, video and data communications. Installs and configures switches, routers, wireless systems and software; supports fiber, coaxial and twisted-pair cable plants; administers VTC systems. Performs network engineering planning, design and system studies, keeps diagrams up to date in Visio/AutoCAD, and ensures compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards. Provides guidance to junior staff.
Requirements
DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II or higher with a Networking Technologies certification (maintained for the contract); 6 years network admin/facility ops/info security experience desired; DoD Secret or ability to obtain one.
