Description
Mid-level Software Developer with 5+ years developing software for tactical systems, on-site at NSWCDD or a contractor facility at least 3-4 days per week. Designs and maintains modular software components in Java, Kotlin, Go, Rust or TypeScript, develops open APIs and data interfaces, designs database schemas and SQL, and uses CI/CD and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Integrates open-source protocols (MQTT, gRPC, WebSockets) and mapping libraries (OpenLayers, Cesium) and participates in Agile ceremonies and code reviews.
Requirements
5+ years software development; Java/Kotlin/Go/Rust/TypeScript; modular architectures; open APIs; database schema design and SQL; CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes; Agile; Secret clearance; Bachelor’s degree.
