Description
Supports a US Navy client in Norfolk, VA by monitoring Alteration Installation Team (AIT) safety compliance and supporting the government OSIC as needed. Conducts daily shipboard safety inspections and provides on-the-spot recommendations to correct unsafe conditions. Ensures the AIT follows its Quality Management System procedures, inspection and test plans, and complies with OSHA standards and NAVSEA Standard Items. On-site schedule, 5 days on-site.
Requirements
HS/GED; 5 years of US Navy shipboard experience; ability to work independently; strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to lift to NIOSH limits, climb ladders/scaffolding and work in confined spaces. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
